Surprisingly, I get exactly the same behaviour (i.e. no connect on lo-res, but connects fine with hi-res) with a fresh clean install. I've checked this both pre and post apt-updates
Note: This is a brand new RPI4 and camera, both purchased just yesterday. I bought them as my old setup started having this behaviour, and I incorrectly diagnosed it as a hardware problem (I needed a new pi anyway !)
Totally confused now!
I can probably live with this behaviour though, I can simply downscale the image after the capture before I publish it as a ROS2 message.
(I need lo res as I'm converting to a pointcloud, and the rpi4 can be a bit slow for larger image sizes)
Question: Does anything get stored on the RPI4 that could have been carried over via the sdcard? NVRAM content etc?
