The rpi-connect status command provides information about the high-level status of the Connect software running on the machine. The status of the various systemd services is an implementation detail - adding information about them to rpi-connect status could cause confusion for non-technical users, and is not really the focus of the status command. rpi-connect doctor would be a better fit, since it is aimed at troubleshooting problems, which is when support would want to check the status of the systemd services.I think more information would be great, and that rpi-connect status would be the better place. That command is a query about services, you would just be adding information about related services. rpi-connect doctor seems to emphasize protocol and communications which is a different thing.
