Can you please do a "chrome://gpu" and show us the results. I have reinstalled Chromium from scratch (after deleting every bit of it) and it still had no hw acceleration. I had to install an older version to get it back.Google Earth and Google Map in 3D mode works for me after update. After the latest update to Chromium, hardware acceleration is totally gone. It is "on" in the settings.

I have completely uninstalled and then reinstalled Chromium-browser to no avail. Even changing "flags" (ignore software rendering list) does not bring it back. Without hw acceleration, google maps or google earth does not work in 3d (which was essential for me).
Why did this happen and how can i fix it?
Addition: I have just reverted to Chromium version 125 and i got back hw acceleration. There is clearly an issue with the latest version. You might want to take a look into it.
Are you running X11 or Wayland? I am tipped that X11 will no longer be supported in Chromium with hw acceleration. That is huge news and really bad news if it is true.
