The secret to those sorts of problems is...keep a log book for each major type of system. *Write* *down* what you did for setup. That way you can repeat and/or improve it later.
Like I can remember to do that. :lol: What I do is document in anything I change why I changed it and if possible include a link to the source that helped me.
What I do is type the configuration steps into a file called memory.txt and then delete it.
I type the steps into scripts that can be used with sdm, so that when I rebuild the disk the steps are all done automatically.

Seriously reduces new system configuration time (like to a few minutes to build a customized IMG and then burn a new disk), so I can spend more time doing fun stuff.
